At Intimate StageWorks, I partner with artists, performing arts organizations, and academic institutions, offering theatrical intimacy direction, workshops, and performer care consultation to help artists and organizations create work that is both artistically daring and ethically grounded.
Performer agency and artistic rigor are not competing values: when artists work with clarity, shared language, and meaningful choice, they are free to take brave creative risks and tell truthful, embodied stories. My approach centers collaboration, clear communication, repeatable choreography, and respect for the people whose bodies bring stories to life.

Intimacy Direction
Thoughtful, collaborative support for productions involving staged intimacy, nudity, sexual content, or other physically and emotionally
vulnerable material.
From early conversations through rehearsal and performance, I work with directors and performers to create clear, repeatable choreography that serves the story while honoring performer boundaries.
Workshops
Customized workshops for performers, directors, educators, students, and artistic leaders exploring consent, boundaries, communication, intimacy choreography, performer agency, and ethical rehearsal practice.
Sessions can be designed for a single ensemble or as broader professional development, with an emphasis on practical tools participants can carry directly into the rehearsal room.
Performer Care Consultation
Support for artists and organizations navigating demanding, vulnerable, or potentially activating material.
Drawing on trauma-informed practices, I offer consultation on rehearsal processes, communication, grounding and closure, performer support, and institutional practices—helping create conditions in which challenging work can be approached with clarity, care, and artistic courage.
Rates and Packages
Intimacy Direction
From $1,200 per production
Production intimacy direction includes consultation and script review, collaboration with the creative team, performer boundary work, intimacy choreography, and rehearsal support to establish clear, repeatable staging. Packages are tailored to the scope and complexity of each production.
Workshops
From $450 per session
Workshops are customized for performers, directors, educators, students, or artistic teams and may focus on consent, boundaries, communication, intimacy choreography, performer agency, and ethical rehearsal practice. Sessions are tailored to the needs, size, and experience level of each group
Performer Care Consultation
From $750 per project
Performer care consultation provides individualized support for artists and organizations working with emotionally demanding, vulnerable, or potentially activating material. Consultation may include rehearsal-process planning, grounding and closure practices, communication strategies, and guidance for supporting performer well-being while sustaining rigorous artistic work.
